All surgeries are by appointment, which can be made my telephoning 0844 4773483. The Surgery opens from 8.00 to 6.30 daily. Reception closed for lunch between 1-2 pm and after 6pm but the doctor is available for emergency contact via the telephone at all times.

There are occasions when patients need to be seen by a doctor, which may involve intimate examinations. This practice is committed to putting patients at ease wherever possible. If you wish a chaperone to be present please do not hesitate to ask the doctor, giving adequate notice if possible.

Minor Surgery is performed in the Health Centre by appointment using local anaesthetics only; this avoids a journey to the hospital.
Registered midwife, Sue Rhind-Tutt, provides antenatal, postnatal and where appropriate, delivery care in collaboration with your doctor and the hospital maternity unit. She holds her clinics on Monday 2.00 - 4.00pm. If necessary she can be contacted via ambulance control at Salisbury District Hospital.
The doctors are available by appointment during normal surgery hours for antenatal and postnatal care.
All the doctors and both practice nurses offer advice regarding contraception. If you need urgent advice or emergency contraception please contact reception and you will be put in touch with one of the medical staff.

Run Wednesday pm by Liz Welldale in conjunction with Dr Amanda Deeks who has a special interest in diabetes. We would encourage all our diabetic patients to attend at least twice a year. The Retinal photography unit attends the practice yearly (usually the first week in January) to screen all our diabetic patients.
Individual appointments may be made with Dr Brown or Sister Welldale throughout the week. The practice has a particular interest in the treatment of asthma and other breathing problems and has both specially trained staff and monitoring equipment for the review of asthma. We have a registered graduate mental health worker, Kate Halliday, who runs a session on Wednesday mornings. This is suitable for people who have problems with anxiety, depression or other problems which affect mood or wellbeing. Appointments are booked through reception usually after discussion with your doctor.
A podiatry service is available on Wednesday afternoons. This is run privately at a reduced cost to the patient by Daniel Randall a qualified local podiatrist. Appointments can be made directly by telephoning 01722 782446.
Practice Nursing Sisters Elizabeth Welldale RCN and Caroline Morris RCN hold surgeries every morning from 9.00am to 12.00 noon, and afternoons except Friday. They will provide treatment and advice regarding a wide variety of problems including:
Sister Liz Welldale also has a special interest in the management of chronic disease and runs a number of longer appointments to allow for the monitoring of these conditions in conjunction with the patient's usual doctor.
The district nurses are responsible for providing skilled nursing care and support for patients and their families in their homes. They may be contacted on 01722 425166. The hospital will normally arrange for a district nurse to call on patients who are discharged early and require home nursing.
