The Health Centre is open:
Reception is closed for lunch between 1-2 pm and after 6pm but the doctor is available for emergency contact via the telephone (0844 4773483) at all times.
The Doctors are usually available for consultation on the following days, except when on holiday or study leave:
All surgeries are by appointment which can be made my telephoning 0844 4773483. We recommend that you see the same doctor for on-going problems; however, you may consult the doctor or nurse of your own choice, or any doctor in an emergency.
If you cannot keep your appointment please let us know so that it can be offered to someone else. Much valuable appointment time is lost by patients simply not turning up. Even a same day cancellation can usually be filled by another patient.
If you wish to speak to a doctor on the telephone during surgery hours please leave your telephone number so he or she can call you back at the end of surgery. It is best to telephone as soon as possible after 8.00am.
If you need urgent advice or treatment please telephone 0844 4773483. When the Health Centre is closed you will be told how to make contact with the out of hours service. Patients may also seek advice from NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
